Dr. Myers was born and raised in Texas. She became interested in chiropractic after years of repetitive injuries to her spine from cheerleading and gymnastics. She began getting adjusted at the age of 12 and because of chiropractic was able to continue with cheering and running track for many more years.
Dr. Myers says, “Once I understood that chiropractic was simply putting the bone back in to place and allowing the body to heal itself the way God intended it to, I knew I wanted to pursue this career and help others get back their life and have complete wellness their whole lives.”
Dr. Myers attended Dallas Baptist University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Religion in 2004. Before beginning her chiropractic journey, she had the opportunity to live in Africa and work with missionaries through the International Mission Board. Once she returned back to the states, she attended Parker University in Dallas, TX and graduated in 2008 with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Once Dr. Myers moved to North Carolina she worked under Dr. Daryl Ammons and received training by Dr. Roy Sweat in order to obtain her Board Certification in Atlas Orthogonal work in 2015. Dr. Myers feels blessed that she can go to work and see the miracles of chiropractic happen every day.
Dr. Myers lives in Apex with her husband, Tri, and her three children. She enjoys serving at her church, The Summit, with the youth, spending time with her family camping, reading, being a chicken mama and loving on her animals.
